About RCM Buildings

A Bastrop staple
you can count on.

When a local contractor in Bastrop needs lumber at 7 a.m. or a homeowner needs the right shingles for a storm repair, RCM Buildings is the place they call. We've built our reputation on knowing what our community needs and keeping it in stock.

We're not a big-box chain with sprawling aisles and indifferent staff. We're a local building supply store where the people behind the counter know your name, your project, and the difference between pressure-treated 2×4s and standard SPF.

That personal touch matters — especially when the wrong material means a redo, a delay, or a bill you didn't expect. We'd rather spend five minutes making sure you get it right than sell you something you don't need.

How We Help

More than a supply
store — your project partner.

We go beyond stacking shelves. From cut-to-size lumber to material recommendations, we're invested in your project succeeding.

Custom Cuts

Need lumber cut to your exact specifications? We'll measure and cut it right — so you don't waste material or time on the road back.

Material Guidance

Not sure which product is right for your application? Our team will help you choose the material that fits your project, your climate, and your budget.

Delivery Options

Heavy materials shouldn't mean a trip to the rental yard. Ask about our delivery service for large orders in the Bastrop area.

Contractor Support

Local contractors — we understand tight schedules and bulk orders. Let us be your go-to supply partner with consistent stock and reliable service.

Quality Guarantee

We stand behind every product we sell. If something isn't right, we'll make it right — that's the local-business promise.

Competitive Pricing

Big-box stores aren't the only option — and they're not always the cheapest. We price fairly so your project budget goes further.

"We've been shopping at RCM for years — they always have what we need, the prices are honest, and they treat you like a neighbor, not a transaction."
